So what were two parents to do, with two toddlers who had clearly had enough of being inside for two days straight already and the promise from the weather man of more rain on it's way.
We piled into the car and headed for a drive.
We stopped for lunch at a little cafe just out of town and then followed a road to see where it would take us.
We found dirt, bush, trees and water.
We all had an enjoyable afternoon and better than sitting inside looking at each other or watching the idiot box!
Good on you for getting out and about! Sometimes we all need a kick in the pants to get off the couch when it's miserable weather. Unfortunately where we live if it was like that we wouldn't be able to get out our driveway and off the farm!! Looks like you had a beautiful place to explore!
