She then chose a ball of wool (not like I was short on supplies)
We sat out in the sun and wrapped and wrapped. She had fun and as you can see by the result she is rather pleased with her efforts.
She needed a little help to hold the stick (so she did not keep wacking herself in the head or poke out an eye) and I tied the knots.
The grand total of $5 and she will have enough yarn to get out a heap of them (thinking that they would make a great party favour in party bags at her party - always on the lookout for non-sweet treats)
That looks very clever! She does look very proud of her creation - well done!
ReplyDeleteThat looks fantastic, she has done a great job. Love the idea of non-food party bag fillers.
ReplyDeleteGreat work Amelia! It looks very lovely.
ReplyDeleteI bought one of these from spotty a few weeks back but got confused about what to do with the elastic so haven't used it yet.
Will have to give it a try now. x
What a great idea! very cute!
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute! She definitely has your crafting genes :)!!
ReplyDeleteShe looks very engrossed in the job and almost amazed with her creation at the end! If only we could satisfy our crafty urges so cheaply :)
