One Day Away!

SPRING

Although it is a little hard to believe. It is raining, misserable and 11 degrees outside.

But through all of that is: the hope of Spring rain. My Dad's birthday, Amelia turning four very soon. Moving to the Sunshine State (lets not mention the packing, unpacking and looking for housing) Sewing (the sewing machine is humming in the corner attempting to be recognised as the knitting needles have been rather busy over winter) and lets not forget flowers...

And then there were SIX!

I finished the knitted cowls/neck warmers and they have been very much recieved.

Amelia and I also had fun doing a little photo shot of them.
If you would like the individual specs on them and have Ravelry access please find them all here.
Sorry being a little slack this weekend. Have paper work coming out of my ears for this move and a house that looks like a bomb has gone off in it (well not really - just a study that I need to find the top of and a spare bedroom to get ready for the arrival of some guests)

Dotty Spotty Goodness

Some of you might remember me signing up for the Polka Dot Swap - and with every thing going on and the sickness that has been flying around the house at the moment I only managed to get my parcel in the mail. Thanks so much Michelle for understanding. I hope that you enjoy what I put together for you.

Here is what I was lucky to recieve.

I love it all. The Sunnyboy Quilted pouch is already in use with a set of socks for Tim, and the little brooch is on my coat - which would you believe I am still wearing and it is almost Spring. We have had a cold front come through and it is freezing yet again.
If you like the Sunnyboy, Michelle has an Etsy store and trades as Buttontreelane. Go check out her goodies and postage in Australia is FREE (how good is that)

Sorry for the unexplained disappearence. Hug someone close to you - go on just do it.

My Creative Space...

Is a cut out factory today.

I have cut out four sets of undies, with the fashion guru's help with choosing which colour she would like on the front and the back of each as she drew pictures to pop into the mail to family members with the family photo that we took back in May.
