A walk in the park...

With many of the parks in the area still out of play due to the flooding, I heard that the Botenical Gardens at Mount Coot-tha yesterday was open and quickly packed lunch and ran out the door with the kids (we were in for a storm later in the day)

The kids enjoyed the run and exploring ths new area.    There is a Children's Hide 'n' Seek Trail where there is lots to look at and find for the kids.  You can pick up a pamplet at the bottom of the trail or at the information centre.

We will go back and explore again.  Next time with some helpers.  Trying to watch two children with so many water features and ponds was a little stressful for this Mumma.
