Front Door/Back Door!

Rebecca at Sticks and Stones tagged me and sent me an email to let me know. I had no idea that Rebecca frequented my blog as she has wordpress and had not commented. So I went and checked her out. Now just a little warning - her front and back door shots are so much more exciting then mine!

So here goes

Looking from my front door (a lovely shot of our over the road neighbors - the house on the left was almost ours - but Tim wanted this one as it had a garden shed down the back)The place we call home for the next 18 months

Down the road (we see the steeple of Jesus Christ of Later day Saint Church)And out the back door - yet another sea of roofs (our little deck and Eme's kennel in the back yard)Just think - this is what we saw outside our front door this time last year... Oh I miss Pucka...

I would like to tag:

Jelly Wears - they are currently renovating and have just bought a heap of Merino Ewe's who have just had some baby lambs.

AJ Antics - Cause she lives where I would love to be right now!

Bec - who lives on a farm with cows and her hubby and little man Sam. I know you are heading on a holiday Bec - so when you have a chance I would love to see the view from your place.

Peta (over at Craft and Stuff) who also has a new born - but seems to achieve so much more in a day then I do!

And lastly Leah - who has moved as many times as us in the past 5 years

Back tomorrow, hopefully to show a finished pink cardi.

WIP WEDNESDAY...

Still working on this jumper. I do hope it looks cute when it is finished and lucky for it I like the pattern of the lace. If not it would have been tossed in the corner with the other pile of WIP's, it really has used up every last brain cell in my head...

This photo is to have photographic evidence for Kate that I can knit both sleeves at the same time... She could not believe that i knit them both separately.

One finished dress!

I finished the dress. Thankyou for all of the encouragement - it is good to know that I am not the only one that has days like these!

This little dress had more help than meters of fabric.

Ingrid saved me after my cutting out disaster with some left over fabric that she had (I think that we bought it at the same time!)

Novy gave me step-by-step instructions (Novy you really must do a tutorial with pictures) Thankyou so much. And Cindy (a dear friend in Wagga Wagga) came to the rescue and dropped off her brand new machine that has sat in its box for two years and has been used once (maybe twice to sew on badges on a uniform!) I will be making the little men in her life some pants as a thankyou.

It is a six month size and will fit her for a while - I tried it on Baden for good measure and he swims in it! Now all I have to do is finish the knitted cardi and it can be in the mail!

This is... My dog (opps - OUR DOG!)

A very old picture of our dog Eme (short for Emerald) She was only about 6 months here and this photo was taken on our honeymoon. Yes...you read correctly - our dog came on our honeymoon (well she was our first born - and also appeared in some wedding shots with DH - I did not want the white dress to be BLACK)

Snoozing with the Boss!

A proud moment with the boss outside her new kennel!
I should have called it a night...

Last night I thought that I would do a spot of sewing. I should have called it a night and just left it as a thought - but NO... I had to go and wreak everything.

I cut out two fronts of the dress.

Then I turned it into a sack of potatoes...Then I broke a needle and now look...
Playing around...

I have noticed a few people adding signatures to there blogs - so last night I decided to have a little play myself.

Update on the camera card...

Karen - Amelia does have a little bag which she uses on a daily basis - it is a Paul Frank bag that she was given during one of our visits to the opshops. Unfortunately it was not in there!

Emma - We have asked Amelia what she did with the Camera Card this is her response...

Mum or Dad "Amelia where is Mum's Camera Card?"

Amelia "Gone..." (with arms held out)

Mum or Dad "Where has it gone?"

Amelia "In the bin"

Lisa and Sarah - A banana in the VCR - we have been lucky enough that she has never attempted to post anything in the VCR or the DVD player

Leanne - If only we could ring it

Fiona - Good idea - But I can't whistle

Lisa - It is still missing after a week...

Bird Bath - I think we will find it somewhere in about 18months when we move again!

Bins were searched and every square of the house has been cleaned and vacuumed and we are yet to find it.

So - I went and bought a new one, only to come home and the sales lady forgot to unlock it. So back into town we must go.
