Taking time to smell the flowers...

Life seems to be on full spin at the moment.

Wow, what a week. We have descided that the kids and I will pack up and move ahead of Tim. This enables us to move into a house and not be homeless for weeks on end after the Christmas rush. Only down side to all of this is we will be Daddyless for two months (although I am sure that this little wife will handle it, it is the kids that I am worried about. Sure I will miss him, but imagine the crafting I will get done as I will not have to clean up before dinner every night :)
Anyway - the kids and I headed to the park on the first day of Spring to enjoy a little sunshine. It also gave me a chance to get some photos of some knits that I have not photographed yet.
A shrug for Amelia - I knitted this last year, but she would not wear it for me, constantly complained that it was "too scratchy Mum!" I have washed it a few times through out the year and fingers crossed that she will wear it with a little dress when the weather warms up a little bit more.
And a vest for Baden. I love him in a vneck and this is a great little knit.
Does anyone notice these pants. They were one of Tikki's originals and have been past from family to family of little cloth wearing boys. From Ali to Bec and now us. Thanks girls and they are still going strong Georgie. And because it is Spring and one can not take enough photos of flowers in bloom - Enjoy...

We are hoping to get over to Canberra during Floriade - so more flower photos to come.

  1. Lovely photos, the shrug looks great on Amelia and I'm so glad the pants fit, I cried when L grew out of them - they are so sweet.

  5. That vest is so cute! Hope the extra washing 'fix' the shrug so Amelia will wear it.
Great Spring photos. Floriade is on my wish list, but we won't get there this year :(

  7. Wow, look at all of those beautiful flowers that I am missing out on. The shrug looks great on Amelia, and I just love the way that the yarn has striped up. :) Baden looks great in that V neck vest and the fish pants are just too cute. Missing you lots.

    Love Kelly
