Holiday Update
As most of you know Amelia and I are on holidays in sunny Queensland!
Amelia has been getting lots of cuddles from her Grandma and Grandpa and two sets of Great Grandparents (How lucky is she!)
I have also had the chance to do a little sewing and some knitting.
The reason for our visit was the celebrate the up and coming wedding of my cousin and his wife to be. It was a lovely night and the first time in 18 years that all of us cousins have been together! For the occasion I did a little sewing.
An outfit for Amelia. Made from a thrifted 1974 Simplicity pattern that I had to do a little moderfications to (the front of the top was not included so I had to draft my own!) Ingrid, notice the fabric of the top - it was the piece that you have me in our christmas swap.
And a picture of the two of us

The top look great! I am glad you found a use for the fabric. And I think that pattern is very similar to one I used that was mssing pieces too. I guess that's the thrill of sewing vintage, it makes you take risks and do something new.
