I have not been organised to join in with 52 portraits this year. Actually I am struggling to pull out my camera most weeks. I really need to do something about that and snap a few more photos of these two.
This adorable picture was taken of them a few weeks ago in knits* that I knitted for a friend. they are growing up before our very eyes.
"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week."
Amelia: We have hit the 8 year old hormone surge. There have been so many tears over the last two weeks. Quietly I hope that my beautiful little girl is still in there somewhere. I'm finding this stage of parenting hard. Any tips? Baden: A boy of wonder. planning his next move in this world. I have lost count of where I should be up to with taking photos of my two. I really need to remember to pull out the DSLR more often. Joining in with Che and Fidel

Amelia: The new smile. She is a little self conscious about her missing snappers Baden: From binoculars to a magnifying glass. This little man is loving anything about animals at the moment.

A portrait of my little family to start the year off. It is not very often that we get a photo of all of us together and with no family around to take happy snaps of us I am often the one behind the lense. We have not had a family photo taken for some time, so this week I took the camera, tripod and remote and got a few snaps. Joining in with Che and Fidel.
While you are there Jodi is also having a giveaway. I whopping $1100AUD worth of goodies. Go and check it out. You have to be in it to win it.
Amelia: Sound asleep in our bed one night this week after not being able to fall asleep with her brother and his snoring Baden: A lunchtime nap. We are off to the ENT next week to find out about his snoring. Four year olds shouldn't snore (nor should babies - who knew)
I came across a new to me weekly blog post a few weeks ago. A portrait of your child/ren once a week, every week for a year. By the end you have 52 photos of your little ones to look back on and cherish.
I've decided to join in on the fun. I have not nearly taken enough photos of my little ones this year and as they growing at lightning speed I really should capture them more.
Amelia: A quick snap taken before school. You were meant to be brushing your hair, instead I find you playing with your little gnome fairies.
Baden: On the run in the backyard, enjoying the first few days of daylight savings.
