Catching Up - Unpacking and other things

Well we have moved and what a move. I am yet to pull out my sewing machine and overlocker and am actually scared to do so - as the removalists packed them with so little care that one was upside down and the other was on its side - Hummm. And considering that I left there boxes out BESIDE THEM and they just threw them in a big box TOGETHER and taped their boxes up with nothing in them - Yeah you got it - EMPTY.

Ok so here goes - another year and another move.

What I want to do this year (my belated new years resolutions if you may)

I want to finish of lots of UFO (unfinished objects) - I have so many that are started and so much material that I want to make things with...

I want to get on here more and update in more often - I have put a ticker on here and since the new year I have had over 100 hits - so please comment people and I promise to give you something to look at!

Check out all of the little towns around here - there are so many and I cant wait to find all of the little weekend markets - I am going to drive Tim Nuts

Go to the theatre and have dinner on the tram - since you never know where I am going to be in a year - we might as well make use of the fact that we are 100km's from a decent city and do some of the things that are on offer there!

Sorry for no pictures - I have currently misplaces my Camera cord and can not down load them - humm.

On that I had better get back to the unpacking. I currently have a jumper OTN's for Amelia and I really want to get it finished before winter.

Holiday Craft

While on holidays I have started some of my UFO's and other things that have been sittingin the cupboard. They are all christmas related and purchased pre-christmas 2005 - but got placed somewhere safe and I found them when we packed up the house.

They were a little fun to make and all look very cute - but I dont thinkt hat I will be making too many of the Jolly Santa's or Angels - they just take too long to complete.
I am going to be busy this year - Tim has requested a nativity christmas tree - NO SANTA'S or REINDEERS. So any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Hummm???

Op Shop Finds

Well I have had fun shopping and looking through all of the op shops on my holidays.

Here is just a few pictures of my finds.

I also managed to get into one of my grandmothers cupbourds and found some real (yes real vintage materials) I had to sneak them out the back door - cause my grandfather wanted to charge me for them and make a dollar, he said he paid for them (yeah about 50 years ago - and that I should pay him!) My grandfather is so funny. Now I just have to work out how I am getting them home.

I also got some great boardbooks for Amelia.
